What I do… for work.
Insight/Research, UX, IA, Content & Digital Strategy, Service Design, Human Understanding, Platform Deployment & Integration
I’m a freelance consultant. Expertise in digital & user strategy and service design, also know a good deal about brand strategy. My work is founded in human understanding and empathy. From workshop & research moderation and strategy, service / experience design, to UX design, IA planning, user profiling, systems integration, infrastructure planning and design and project management. I advise and fix a wide variety of matters, having had extensive experience across a wide range of environments, from advertising agencies, start-ups, SME consultancy, right through to corporate finance.
These days I’m focussing my energy on working for organisations I believe in that are positive in their contribution to society as a whole, with a focus on sports & performance, health & wellbeing and the arts & culture sectors.
I also run a number of other small businesses; a consultancy called Beautiful Everything, that specialises in insight led strategy for organisational development; BoomBeam, a film focussed technology consultancy and platform; last, but not least, Visual Athlete, a data visualisation product that doesn’t get as much love as it should.
